Xdream is proudly affiliated with Aascf Cheer and Dance Association. Xdream are also very excited to be collaborating with Berry Jam Music in 2022 so our dancers will also have the opportunity to train in Singing, Piano and Guitar. Xdream unlike most dance schools where opportunities to dance and continue performing at a high level end when dancers turn 18 proudly offer adult teams in Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Pom which are not only incredibly successful but also very social. Our school strongly focuses on teaching technique and strength in a fun safe environment. Xdream offers a great line up of young and inspiring teachers and choreographers, specialising in all different genres of dance. Michelle and her teaching team are passionate about supporting and nurturing aspiring dancers of all ages. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and family friendly school and currently have many parents and children enjoying the benefits of our Allstar teams. We now have both Novice and Open Elite performance teams for all ages.

The best part is that anyone who wants to perform can join a team. Xdream has grown in all ages and genres over the past 3 years and our teams have gone from strength to strength. Xdream were also awarded 5 Dance World Bids at the 2021 Nationals to compete in Orlando, Florida in April 2022. Xdream started with about 10 Dance teams and quickly grew to 26 Dance Teams including boys only Hip Hop Crews in 2021.

In 2019 Xdream began its journey in Allstar Dance, which is an amazing Dance organisation that offers dancers incredible opportunities to perform in a highly professional environment. Michelle feels really strongly about this and the fact that Xdream has such a large team of Open Elite girls aged 18 + still dancing and competing at National and International level is a testament to this belief. Our kids will always dance like kids at Xdream and will never be pushed to perform at a level that is not appropriate for their age. Michelle believes nurturing the love of dance safely to ensure young bodies are technically strong and can then cope with the pressures put on dancers as they grow and develop is the key to a long relationship with dance. They will more often than not burn out in their early teens and leave dance all together.

Telling children they are going to be a star and you must attend many eistedfods competing in solos at every opportunity is not the way to achieve this goal for many many young dancers. Michelle Walsh opened Xdream Dance Crew in 2013 to create a dance school with a difference.Īfter spending many years raising a daughter who went on to pursue a career in dance and another currently in the wings ready to fly, Michelle understands through experience what is and is not required to follow a dance career.
